Remember and revere the hard times, for they will become the stories you most like to tell.
Or, just make them up. No one’s listening to you anyway.
It’s best that we have different opinions. If not, everyone would drive a car just like yours.
Other than that, though, I’d be pretty cool with it.
What good is it to go fast if you’re headed in the wrong direction?
Instead, go slowly in the wrong direction, savoring every delicious, wrongheaded moment of it.
Resist making big decisions late at night or after a hectic day.
Because, when you’re tired, it’s much harder to see if the quarter has landed heads or tails.
Love today. Squeeze all the sunshine and beauty from it, for you will never see the likes of it again.
Especially once you squeeze all the sunshine and beauty out of it.

Be grateful if your childhood bedroom was small and upstairs under the eaves. It’s the one you’ll remember most happily.
When I was a kid, I had to sleep in a closet. Standing up. Under a leak. Next to my two brothers. And Grandma. And they were the best 32 years of my life!
You don’t have to originate great ideas, but you must be able to recognize one when it comes strutting by.
That way, when you’re old and bitter, you’ll be able to count exactly how many great ideas you watched strut by.
When you believe in someone, let them know it.
